Other NotesCheshire Rounds was created for a visit to the International LetterKenny Folk Festival held in Co Donegal, Ireland in 1986 by "Inakettle Morris", a side was drawn from Cheshire sides (Bollin, Ringheye, and Earl of Stamford's) to get enough dancers to go.
It's a development of a Playford dance of the same name - the first 2 figures are a reasonable interpretation of the vague Playford description.
After Letterkenny, the dance developed in 2 directions. Bollin Morris have a rather different version, and the Earl of Stamford's version was taken to Australia by Paul and Leslie Carr where it developed as this dance.
Molonglo Mayhem toured England in 1999 and this version was then picked up by some English sides under the name Molongo.
