General Notes
Set up by the then Vicar of St John the Evangelist Church in Hook to fund-raise.
St John has the emblem of the Eagle and colours of blue and gold. These and our black clerical shirts are a reminder of this. Raising some £6,000 for the Church in our first two years the founding members evolved into a more traditional Morris Team and have not looked back.
Have performed in the USA, Belgium and France

Team founded for a single performance at a Church Fete. Yateley Morris taught members of the congregation a couple of Cotswold dances. The dancers had such a good time they decided to carry on. A couple of Yateley chaps joined and the decision was made to become a Border Team to differentiate from the Cotswold of YMM.
Changed from black to blue face in 2021 to due social pressure, despite only a very small number of complaints (mostly from SJW's) in more than 30 years of performing.
Team became "mixed" in 2022 as recruiting men was proving very difficult.
