General Notes
We adopted the repertoire of Barley Break North West Ladies Morris (now defunct). Our dance teacher had been a Barley Break dancer for many years. The Herring Gals+ Band is made up of musicians from The Barley Break Band. In 2022, we decided to open our side to everyone and therefore changed our name to Herring Gals +
Sadly, on 15th June 2025, we performed our last dance-out ,as we ceased to exist as a team. Low numbers of dancers and two members of the band retiring made us reconsider whether we could carry on.
