| Other Notes | Collected by Maud Karpeles in 1930 in Knutsford from "a Peover Team". Peover is an area in Cheshire including Over Peover, Higher Peover and Lower Peover. Roy Dommett has posited that the dance was actually the Leyland Junior Dance as the notation bears many similarities with the Leyland dance. Leyland Morris Dancers were regular attendees at Knutsford Royal May Day. |
