Other Notes "Cuckoo's Nest was put together by Long Barrow Morris. It was initially created to be used as a workshop dance, as the side were invited to perform and run a workshop at the 1992 Bagpipe Society's annual Blowout weekend held at Great Linford, Milton Keynes. Being essentially a two person dance it could be expanded and tweaked for any number of dancers. Following Long Barrow's dissolution Phil Kane (member of Long Barrow and founder of Wolfshead) introduced it to Wolfshead (later wolfshead and vixen) where it became a performance dance as well as being a workshop dance. It has moved on and been adapted by other sides, as happens."
